Of course the critters outside don't mind it too much, especially that damned Cooper's Hawk that keeps cruising through my backyard looking for a meal at the bird feeder. He's not the only visitor, though. The other day we had chickadees :3

Well, one of them, anyway. I didn't bother with hand-feeding them, considering I had my camera out at the time lol, but usually they are pretty good about snatching food from people. Unless, of course, there's a full feeder and they don't need you.
They're still cute, though~

It was raining yesterday. The grass is still green. WTF winter? Why are you letting me down like this? Granted, when it does decide to start dropping the white stuff it'll probably be more of a pain than I remember.
I also need a tree. And presents to go under that tree, which reminds me I still have some shopping to do...oh well. There's still plenty of time!
As for me, I am receiving presents year round from the mailman :) The package of the day was a set of Kotobukiya one coin figures, specifically the Forest of CHiRAl set. Cutest accessory? The tiny, tiny chair for Shiki X3 Most disturbing? No pants!Akira's cast-off feature O_o OMG I wondered why the box had an age rating on it! Although I must admit, that kind of attention to the little details is admirable...kind of.
Ah, and that's all for now. Such a pathetic update, but my download of Steal! just finished so I'm off to play~
Heh, anyway, figured it was time to post a little something to show that I am still alive and have been spending a little more time over here since the beginning of NaNoWriMo. This is the second year I'll be giving it a shot and hoping to do something better than last year's abysmal failure of 7000 words and change :3 I have yet to hit the 5000 word count, though, which is totally depressing compared to how others are fairing.
I had one hell of a time deciding on my stupid plot, and it's taking time to warm up to writing it. I'm afraid it's turning out to be dull...but I am still working away, waiting to reach some more exciting scenes! Uh, and to be quite honest I liked my failed story from last year much much better ._. I wish it was within to rules to pick up and finish an existing work.
All of this is kept secret, of course. No chance that I would let anyone but me read this drivel D: It's been far too long since I've posted any writing in public, so getting over that little hurdle would take a bit more courage than I currently have.
In other news, I have a few more doujin scans in the works, including that one elusive Tom/Jerry book that I've seen bits of on /y/. I have never seen the whole thing online before, so it's about time someone put it there, perhaps. Aside from that I am eagerly awaiting this. Beautiful art for my favorite pair, and R18? Instabuy! X3
